What is the definition of desperate? Webster defines it as involving or employing extreme measures in an attempt to escape defeat or frustration. Do you feel defeated? Are you frustrated because of your financial situation?

Well, if you are, it is time you became a desperate housewife and take desperate measures to turn your family's financial situation around. How can you do that you may be asking? It's simple. Start your own home-based business. There are millions to choose from, and as long as you partner with a good one that offers a real opportunity for success, you have nothing to lose. Well, except for the defeat and frustration you are currently facing because of your finances.

Lacking financial resources is a major source of stress and anxiety in the American family, today. Money does not buy happiness, but it sure can cure most of the problems most people face today.

I'm certain if you took inventory of your life right now and listed the top ten things plaguing your family, right now, seven or more could be alleviated by money. When I figured that out, I told myself I had to do something to earn more of it somehow.

And that something was starting a home-based business. When you get sick and tired of being sick and tired, desperate times will call for desperate measures! Never in a million years did I ever see myself having a home-based business.

 

Why? Because probably like you, I had heard all of the horror stories that can be associated with it. "That's an illegal pyramid scheme. Get out while you can, or you just may be going to jail." Yes, I've heard all those same lines, too.

There are pyramid schemes everywhere, and you do have to be careful. But, the biggest pyramid scheme in the world most people don't view it for what it is. And it's called a job!

Now before you disagree with me, what do most people associate with pyramid schemes? Haven't you heard it said, "Only the people at the top make money and everyone else does all the real work. There is no real chance for success for those at the bottom."

Well, doesn't the boss and owner of the company you work for make most of the money? I mean what are your odds of becoming CEO of the company you currently work for? Think about it.

The truth of the matter is, the pyramid is the most stable structure in the world. And just about every organism and organization is structured that way, it's just that it's painted in a negative light when it comes to starting a home-based business.

I tell anyone who wants to start one to definitely do their due diligence before joining any company. There are four things that you must have present in a home-based business opportunity.

First, look at the company's leadership. Two, look at the company's service or products and will anyone truly want to pay your for them if you decided to market them. Three, what is the compensation plan like? And four, can the average person come in, work hard and change their financial life forever? In other words, are just the people at the top making money?

We don't live in a perfect world. There are bad apples out there. But, for every bad apple, there are five that are good for eating!

So, when you're tired of being desperate, get online, find you an opportunity, do your due diligence, get involved, work hard, and see if starting your very own home-based business doesn't have the power to change your life in more wonderful ways than you could ever imagine.
