You know the feeling--you have a
big date or other special event tomorrow and then, just before
going to bed, you notice the tell-tale signs of an emerging zit.
The good news is -- getting rid of zits does not necessarily
have to include some crazy strict diets!
Yes, that simply means you don't
have to get rid of chocolate or soda from your diet. But of
course, limiting your intake of these classes of foods is always
a very advisable thing to do in order to get rid of zits and
prevent future breakouts. Recent medical research shows that,
there is no connection between zit and diet So, what should
tactics should you use for getting rid of zits? Here are a
few...
1. Stop picking on your zits.
You risk infecting the surrounding skin and have it spread like
wildfire and that's the least of your worries. To add insult to
injury, it risks scarring and that's even harder to remove.
2. Wash your make-up off
cautiously each night. Use a mild soap two times a day and make
sure you dirt free the soap completely off your appearance. Soak
six or seven times with spanking new water.
3. Always drink plenty of water
each day if you truly want to get rid of that zit in no time. It
is important to drink as much as 8 glasses of water every day in
order. Drinking 8 glasses of water per day will help get rid of
zit causing bacteria from your bloodstream and also help prevent
future breakouts.
4. Eat lots of fruit and
vegetables. Boring? Well, ask yourself this: is having zits all
over your face interesting? Just eat lots of good healthy stuff
and you're half way there.
5. And how about lemons? They
are effective as well. Tea tree oil on the other hand works
wonders to your skin giving it a new life whilst cleaning the
pores of your skin. You should dilute it with water before
trying to use it at full force. In days you shall feel your skin
to be ever so fresh and supple.
6. If you do use a drug,
natural or otherwise, that was prescribed give it time to take
effect. It is not an over night process for the drug to take
effect so be patient and the results will show in few short
weeks.
7. Cucumber mask Is also a very
good way to get rid of acne. This will actually moisturize your
face and supply a good amount of vitamins that the skin needs to
battle acne and zits. To do this make a cucumber paste and apply
all over your face. Let it sit for a few minutes and wash your
face normally. You will start to see some improvements fairly
quickly.
8. Choose the right makeup.
Don't use oil based makeup because it will clog the pores and
cause more breakouts. The same thing applies to oil-based
sunscreens and concealers.
9. Stop taking in processed
foods and start eating disinfected fruits and vegetables, such
as apple, apricot, blueberry, cherries, pear, pomegranate,
papaya, strawberry, and watermelon, carrot, avocado, garlic,
cauliflower, beet, okra, spinach, peas, corn, broccoli,
cucumber, artichoke, etc.
10. Garlic is one of those
foods items that is very versatile. This is true when one
considers how important it can be to get rid of zit. Taking
garlic internally two to three times each day will allow the
body to cleanse itself of impurities and toxins from the
surrounding environment. For the more dedicated acne sufferer,
the garlic can be applied to the acne directly. Raw garlic
rubbed on the skin can work miracles in ridding the body of
acne.
